Yay for Sunday and a new blog post! Let's talk dry skin: it sucks. I live in the Northern United States, and it is pretty much freezing cold all year round. To make things worse, now I am going to college where I have to walk outside everywhere I go. Long story short, not matter how often I moisturize or wear gloves, my hands get DRY. Dry and cracked. It is very annoying. I feel that I have finally found a product that really helps! It's the new ZOYA Naked Manicure Hydrate and Heal system.
There are two steps to this system: 1. Hydrating Hand and Body Serum This is my favorite hand care product I have ever tried, and it is so fun to use. All you have to do is spray this on your hands, feet, or anywhere you have dry skin. However, avoid contact with your face and eyes. After you spray, you gently massage the product into your skin, and wait for it to dry. It does not take long to dry at all, and my hands instantly felt and look so much softer and hydrated. 2. Healing Hand and Body Cream This cream is extremely lightweight and non-greasy, so I was very surprised when it actually did a lot for my hands. You use this cream after the serum to really lock in the hydration. I am used to using very thick creams to get my hands moisturized, so you can imagine my surprise when it actually made my hands super soft and supple. 10/10 would recommend. Overall thoughts: If any of you are suffering from dry skin, I do honestly recommend this product. The set I got is $23 and is the perfect size for trying the product to see if it works for you. One thing I noticed was after just a few days of use, my hands stayed hydrated throughout most of the day, which is a great improvement from me having to constantly re-apply lotion several times throughout the day. I also noticed that my hands still felt moisturized and soft after washing my hands, which is something I do VERY often (I'm terrified of germs!). If you have any questions about this product, or just want to know more, feel free to leave a comment below! You can also check out my YouTube video where I show me using the product for the first time and my unfiltered first impression.

Let me introduce you to bloom. bloom was founded by two amazing women graduates of the University of Delaware. What started as a small idea, or "seed", has blossomed into an incredible brand. They specialize in incredible planners ranging in uses such as daily life, teacher planning, and even wedding planning. Below are some images of their vintage floral daily planner with nail art I created to match! bloom doesn't only sell planners, in fact they have a huge range of office supplies to keep you organized whether you are in college, have a job, or a stay at home mom (which I believe to be the hardest job in the world so props to all you moms out there.) I am obsessed with their stickers! They come in a variety of packs, my favorite being the monthly holiday pack. I love being able to decorate my planner so everyday I get to look at artsy stickers that honestly make me so happy. I also got their productivity pack that includes exam reminder stickers as well as various appointments and activities reminders. I find bloom to be extremely practical in my daily life. I am a busy college student and I am always forgetting when assignments or due, or I am too lazy to look at my syllabus to see when my exams are. bloom planners make it incredibly simple to stay on top of things. Immediately after I got my syllabi the first week of classes, I wrote down when all of my exams were, and any big assignments I would need to be reminded of. I am a huge fan of handwriting things to help me remember them. Using my planner, the bloom setup makes it so simple to just open up to a certain day/month so I can see when something is coming up. Overall, I obviously recommend this brand to anyone who is looking for organizing supplies with amazing designs to brighten their day. If you are interested in hearing more about what I have to say about bloom, check out my YouTube video! I hope you have an amazing day! I seriously can't believe I am finally doing this! After much deliberation, I have finally decided to start a blog. This idea came when I was thinking about changing my Instagram and YouTube usernames. For those of you who don't know me, I am Elizabeth and I run the nail art account on Instagram and YouTube called eabnailart. I wanted to start posting different content on my page that wasn't just nail art, so I thought what better way to share my love for other things than by starting a blog! Here I will post about all things beauty, DIYs, college survival tips and of course, nails! I still might change my usernames, but for now I want to see where this blog will take me! If you have any questions, or would like to get to know me better, I will link my first Q&A below that I made about a year ago. I really hope you will join me on this blogging journey! Please sign up for email updates so you can be notified anytime I make a new post! |
